We were disappointed on our arrival in Sydney two weeks ago when our schedule couldn't accommodate this restaurant. Upon our return yesterday, the old adage good things happen to those who wait was proven true!!!!! What User doesn't like about The Olive Tree:
I ordered the vegan shawarma today and was extremely disappointed with the changes made to the original recipe. It was delicious when I had it last year, but the version I received today was not what I expected. It was too bitter and had an overwhelming taste of lemon juice for my liking. I hope they bring back the original recipe for us vegans who have limited places to eat. Otherwise, I still love this place. View all feedback.

Love this place. Was there the evening of Dec. 4/21 for a pre Christmas dinner. Food was amazing as usual and the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful and of course service was perfect and entertaining as always??

Great food, had the seafood pasta. Personalized service. 5 stars aren't enough.

An absolutely brilliant experience from the moment when we walked in the door. the ambiente is very European. the server/host was very hospitable, welcoming and had a great feeling of humor. the food was so good. I had the seafood linguine. every bite had fish in it. it was a very generous part and I had to bring the half in a take-off box home. I will go back absolutely, positiw!

Amazing little space! the food was delicious and the service was great! eating is very fresh and the portions are great! that's one of my favorite places to eat!

Had the shrimp scallop sambuka pasta. very delicious. well done. others had the flamenco. both enjoyed it. beautiful small place with personablem service. Try it.
