Harbour Spirit Thai Restaurant - Sydney

Six of us went to this restaurant for a two-for-one deal with Groupon. The décor is modern and pleasing.The value was outstanding we had a complete choice of the menu starting with full sized entrée, then main and there was even dessert for each person plus a glass of wine.The servings were so generous that none of us were able to fit in dessert.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good Thai food.

Our family of 4 came by on a Saturday night. No booking but plenty of spare tables. Place was cosy and warm. We had spring rolls, chicken satay × 2, green curry x 2, rice, and drinks for 3 for just over $100. The service was pleasant and quick enough. The highlight was the two green curries which were beautifully flavoured and had lovely crunchy veges. Well sized and a bit large for each of us to finish. We would definitely eat here again.

Good place to eat some good thai food at a reasonable price in darling harbour. Beef Massaman curry and Fish Cakes are delicious, Plent of Vegan Options and nice collection of beer. I will return soon.

I had a voucher that insured that I would not be disappointed. But if I was paying full price I would not have been as satisfied. The place is pleasant enough, located near Darling Harbour. The food prices were also quite reasonable but the beer and wine values less so. The problem was there was only one reasonably good Thai dish out of those we ordered. My chili and basel noodle dish with prawns had some zing and a sufficient number of prawns. However the Tom Yum soup flirted too much with being bland and the Jungle Curry with prawns was more like a soup than a curry. You also had to hunt for the prawns in this dish which also was firmly located in the neighborhood of the blands. Given the number of other Thai and other Asian restaurants in the area, finding a better one would not be too difficult. Again, given my voucher, I did not leave dissatisfied, but perhaps my satisfaction was fueled mostly by several beers consumed with the meal.

We had finalised "per head" rate for a party and the invites were sent out to the guests.A week later the Restaurant owner came back to us and said he can't do the party at the discussed rates and suggested to cancel the party....we had to cancel my daughter's birthday party...she is gutted...
