A great place to for tapas and sangria. Low lighting is great for those on dates! Cue romance.
Staff are very helpful with food and beverages choices. I highly recommend the sangria here - very good. To start we tried the:

We ordered quite a few tapas to share and a seafood paella. The restaurant has a nice ambience and is suited for a romantic date. It is dimly lit and service was good. The garlic prawns and pork belly were a standout, especially the pork belly which melts in your mouth. The green beans, potatoes and calamari was average and I'd say Subsolo most certainly does a better job there.
I never realised this restaurant was here at the GPO. It's a bit of a fancy Spanish restaurant. I guess all the restaurants at the GPO are quite upscale. It had a nice ambience, with the dimmed lights and the interior was nice We ordered dishes to share. Some of the tapas dishes we ordered were the pork belly, pan-fried scallops wrapped with Jamon and the Postales Valencian paella. It was tasty with a lot of flavour. I really like the paella. The staff were friendly and helpful with out meal choices. I found this restaurant is probably best for special occasions.
Great food, great cosy and intimate atmosphere. Food was speedy from time of order to on table which was not expected for such a classy place. We had several plates - most memorable was their slow cooked beef cheeks with mash - it was perfect to finish with - most hearty and satisfying!
Great menu and spread, very well Informed service people. Tried this place thrice and was always happy. The food is great and very tasty. The ambience of the place can be bettrr
