Contribute FeedbackRed Lobster offers consistent predictability with good food and pleasant service. However, numerous issues were reported on one visit, including long wait times, lackluster food, and overwhelmed staff. Despite these negatives, the food was still described as delicious, with minor issues quickly corrected by attentive waitstaff. OpenTable reservations on busy nights were deemed ineffective, leading to unnecessary wait times. Overall, while there were mixed experiences reported, Red Lobster remains a reliable choice for those seeking familiar seafood dishes and a generally positive dining experience.
Don’t bother using OpenTable especially on a Friday or Saturday night to make a reservation. The reservation did absolutely nothing, just show up put your name on the list and go do something for a half an hour.
On this visit everything went wrong at the restaurant. They where short of cooks, had trouble with the oven and dishwasher went out. This is what the waitress told us. We had to wait about to get our food and even the buiscuits took this long to get. Waitress was overwhelmed which resulted in poor service and rudness.
Had to be my worst dining experience at Red Lobster and we go quite often. I used open table for preferred seating we got there a little early but that wasn't a problem was told would have a min wait, which was still ahead of my reserved min later we are still waiting tables that came in w/o reservations sat before us. I had to go up and ask about what was going on, as it was no min past our reserved time, I got an half hearted apology and they seated us. The waiter was so hard to understand because he wouldn't speak up and we saw him a grand total of times our entire meal. We had to ask for refills on drinks, never got any extra biscuits with our meal. Meal was delivered by someone completely other than our waiter they forgot my scampi. Food was sub par at best, lacked flavor. Pasta sauce was glued to the edges of the plate like it had sat to long, the lobster was barely warm and rubbery, vegetables were cold. We were never asked if we wanted desert when the waiter finally appeared to bring us our check. The person who collected our check was someone else other than our waiter who was who knows where. It was not overly busy that night there were several tables open and a lot of staff seemed to be just standing around. Our waiter was Michael I dont recommend ever sitting in his section again.
Food was great. Waiter not attentive enough to our table pleasant enough but very long waits between visits.
Red Lobster is consistent. While food promotions change, everything stays basically the same. This makes dining there predictable. Thankfully that predictability is accompanied by good food. Server was attentive and pleasant.
