Contribute FeedbackAt the Joshua Bradley, dining experiences vary dramatically. While some patrons rave about excellent service and delicious food, others report significant disappointments. Complaints often include poorly prepared meals, with reports of hard pita bread, lukewarm risotto, and undercooked beef. Service staff, though occasionally friendly, have been noted for their lack of attentiveness on busier days, leading to frustration among diners. However, on quieter occasions, guests have enjoyed superb service and well-executed dishes, making it a beloved spot for some. The restaurant's inconsistent performance raises questions about its culinary and service standards, leaving diners hopeful yet wary of future visits.
A few of us went to JB for a get-together evening. Everyone loved the food and drinks. The atmosphere was also fantastic.
Excellent food at unbeatable price and great beer in superb condition. Really wonderful setting and excellent staff. Special mention for Georgia who looked after us really well and went the extra mile to make sure all our needs were met and requests fulfilled. Many thanks for a fabulous experience
From arrival to departure the service and staff were superb, human and just lovely people, the food was fantastic for all 14 members of our family. My son, daughter in law and granddaughter visiting from Australia wish they had a Joshua Bradley near them…! Just a great evening out for all of us, thank you.
We visited The Joshua Bradley for a birthday treat for my wife. Both of our main meals included tender stem broccoli, but we found that we were unable to eat it as it was hard and undercooked. When asked how our meal was we both said that the broccoli was inedible, only to be told by the waitress that it was “Al Dente”. She offered to get another serving of the broccoli, but when it came it wasn’t any better, and s3o had to leave most of it again. Perhaps customers should be asked how they want their vegetables cooked, as they are asked how they want their steak cooked? As a retired couple we have noticed the big increases in the cost of meals, due to inflation, But that shouldn’t also mean the reduction in portion sizes. We have visited The Joshua Bradley many times over the years but found this meal very disappointing.
I have been here a few times now to meet a friend. It is a good place to meet up the food is good although nothing extraordinary we are always left to chat without being hassled and it is a convenient and friendly place to meet up. One staff member was particularly friendly I hope she can teach one of the others to smile!!
