Contribute FeedbackWhile some diners were disappointed with the service and food at Pier 106, others had a much more positive experience. Despite issues with undercooked mussels and uninterested servers during Downtown Dining Week, some guests enjoyed their meals and appreciated the riverside location of the restaurant. The clam and clam starter with white sauce was a surprising hit, and dishes like stuffed salmon and ahi tuna were well-received. Overall, Pier 106 seems to have mixed reviews, with some guests recommending it for visitors to Milwaukee.
This restaurant is incredible and so is the chef! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are all fantastic. I can't emphasize enough how talented the chef is. Please make sure to keep them on staff. I have already been here twice and can't wait to come back again.
This might be a gem of a place but the night we had dinner they had little staff, the food took a long time to get to our table and then seemed over the top. Unfortunately it was too cold, otherwise this seems like the perfect place to sit outside on the terrace with a view of the river, open air and the energetic city atmosphere.
The food wasn't hot, lukewarm at best. The server was unable to answer simple questions about the menu or the fireworks cruise after dinner. Very disappointed with the whole meal. Fireworks we are great!
The restaurant did not honor our gift card. Nor did they call my husband back when he tried to speak to a manager.
We were in Milwaukee for a convention and discovered that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant in the area. So we decided to try it out. It's right on the riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our food was very good. We enjoyed a clam and clam starter that had white sauce - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different from what we expected but tasty. I had the stuffed salmon as a starter and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I would recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee.
