I had Moon Tong about around 3 4 years ago and remember not being impressed/ liking the food at the time. My partner and I Decided to give them a try again two nights ago, we ordered the combo plate C7 beef and broccoli/ chicken balls and the chef’s special goo lo pork , we found the portions were large with enough for the two of us and we had leftovers for the next day. Have enjoyed lunch here previously and returned because it was lunchtime and we felt like having some Chinese food (this is the only such place in the area). The service was quick (we were the only ones in the restaurant) and the lunchtime food (combo-specials)...was acceptable, if mediocre (eg. too much breading on the Soo Guy). It was pretty good but, the servings were smaller than most other Chinese restaurants, I've ordered from and cost more. I didn't like it as much as some others, but, it could be just my preference, for crispy egg roll shells.Parking: There's a large parking lot, as there are a number of stores and businesses. The majority of the time, there is a parking spot,close by.
This restaurant is a great spot! It's definitely improved since my last visit. Keep up the good work with the food. I would recommend giving it a second chance!
I placed a large order at this restaurant yesterday and it was delicious. My food was ready on time for pick up and the front staff was extremely friendly. I have noticed that the food here keeps improving and I even had leftovers to enjoy. Thank you! In terms of wheelchair accessibility, the restaurant has no steps at the entrance so you can easily access it and find a table.
This is the only place I have ever been that has burnt noodles. Twice.
A traditional Canadian Chinese restaurant with friendly staff. It’s the only option in the area and is worth trying. It can be inconsistent though.
