We had lunch here after a visit at the Basilica. Rico took care of us. The place is 34 years old and it shows it. But nothing beats the Antipolo air and the food was excellent. Try the osso buco and the flatbreads. A change from the usual fare in Manila. View all feedback.
What Wilburn Casper doesn't like about Vieux Chalet:
Swiss Raclette was very good. Osso Bucco had a huge serving and tasted like Kaldereta. The place was cozy and had a romantic ambiance but they should do something about the mosquitos. The staffs are really friendly but a little thank you when customers are leaving would be very much appreciated. View all feedback.
This restaurant is more of a hidden gem, serving excellent Swiss cuisine. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, the food is delicious. I particularly enjoyed their shake, and I also tried the Basil Calamansi dish, which was fantastic.
We were initially hesitant to visit this restaurant due to the higher prices, but the service, ambiance, view, and quality of food made it worth the expense. We only planned on ordering one pasta dish and a slice of cake, as they seemed to be the most affordable options on the menu. However, the deliciousness of the red sauce pasta dish convinced us to order a second one (Alfredo), both of which were incredibly tasty. Even my wife, who usually isn't a fan of pasta, enjoyed both dishes. The complimentary bread was also heavenly, and the waitress kindly offered us extra loaves when she heard our praise. Though we were too full for dessert, we were pleasantly surprised with a free chocolate cupcake for our Anniversary. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and we will definitely return when we are in Antipolo again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We sat by the window in the dining room to enjoy the stunning view and surrounding beauty. The ambiance was elegantly rustic, with family pictures and interesting decorations on the walls. The restaurant is open-air, so there is no need for jackets or heavy clothing. As the sun set, we were able to see the city in all its glory and feel the refreshing breeze. Vieux Chalet Swiss Restaurant in Antipolo City is a gem, offering a feel-good, convivial fine dining experience. I hope its charm never fades.
Good food in a tucked away location. I went with my family and we were the biggest group there. Everyone else were couples enjoying the beautiful view of manila from their spot in antipolo. The waited has very good recommendations and we weren't disappointed with anything that was served to us. The lamb and beef was amazing! Would return again.
Had a birthday party for daughter in law with her friends. Really great food: fresh salad with vinaigrette dressing, chicken ala Tony, 5 cheese pizza, spinach ravioli and the desert, a butter cream icing on a combination chocolate and butter cake! The ambience here is really great! Highly recommended! We have coming to this Restaurant since 1995 and have ever been disappointed.
