Some highlights include the shrimp dishes, fragrant tea, delightful pesto pasta, and delicious chicken entree. However, there were some letdowns such as overcooked salmon, under-seasoned dishes, underwhelming portions, and poor quality tomatoes. The environment is well-decorated and the service can be hit or miss, with instances of fantastic servers and rude, slow service. Overall, Wa Jeal offers great value for delicious food in a pleasant environment, but service may be inconsistent.
We were visiting Temecula and its wineries for the first time and I had decided after some long research, that I'd take my friend here for her birthday
We were staying at the South Coast Winery Resort and wanted the convenience of walking from our hotel to a restaurant for dinner.
I expected way more for the amount of money we spent here for two people for lunch.
We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!
Our table was waiting when we got there, the service was attentive and the food was delicious ... the prices were reasonable too
