We went there two couples. you will find yourself in an old house with a warm decor and with attentive staff. French restaurant with a diversified menu with an attractive host table. We have the taste to choose several dishes. I ate a duck magret with old porto and blueberry sauce. Beautiful. I'm sure to take it back, while my spouse took the bisque and its rust. we arrived at 19.30 on Thursday evening and left at 22.30 for a 3 services. There were only about 20 people. Friday August 11th, we return to my favorite place of landbonne ́Le flichon' for the party to my sister. It is 19:00 we command and the beginning of the nightmare begins; the carrot soup not so hot and stuffed to thicken the consistency, the salad nothing to say, the main dish arrives; First my sister-in-law had ordered the duck confit, the duck arrives in the plate "free" not cooked. we, my wife and I ordered the veal liver that we will share with my sister-in-law. After waiting for our dishes for an hour (the time to eat the bread basket in full, so hungry). the portions are reduced to a minimum, a bowl of soup bottom, the main dish was a bambino portion so there was nothing in the plate. It was very long. The usual desserts now cost an extra. disappointed, disappointed...Although the competition is merciless.
We used to go to the flichon for years.Always satisfied with the choices of the menu and the quality of the dishes. This year, surprise... different, less refined than usual in my opinion. Moreover, the example of menu on the website is no longer representative of what it is in fact... should be changed at least to avoid misleading expectations. We've had a nice evening, very good service. But will we go back? Not sure, to see.
We had dinner before we went to the theater of the old guerrillas. We took the "big table", a 5-course meal. on the menu, duck jam and marinated bath. Inside, gaspacho, tiger shrimp and salmon candy. dessert, burnt cream. All, well prepared and served with courtesy and good mood. The dishes were delicious. For two hours at all.Choice of wines at very good prices.Without the wine, for about $100 for two, which is little.Very good meals pleasant.
