We went there with friends to try the Thai food that has been praised by a lot of people from Thalwil. Thus, we had high expectations.To put it in a nutshell, the staff is friendly and the dishes are really tasty and quite authentic. The choice of meals is ok, but I missed some of my favorites in the menu. Finally the high prices have to be mentioned. Expect to pay about 30CHF for a Pad Thai and about 20CHF for a sim... Small, lovingly designed restaurant with excellent Thai cuisine. our 'out of country' guests has tasted, and my 'heikler' has not had any magical problems after that. that speaks for a kitchen where is really cooked with fresh ingredients. friendly service. small, lovingly decorated restaurant...with excellent thai cuisine. out of town guests loved it and my 'difficult ' guest had absolutely no problems afterwards. that means that really ingredients fresh are being used. friendly service. Highly recommended!
We took a short Uber ride to Ruen Thai today, prior to our tour at the Lindt Home of Chocolate. The food was absolutely amazing in terms of authenticity, taste and presentation. Our server was from Phuket (very friendly and attentive) and she recommended two...dishes based on our interest and spice level. Wife had Red Curry with Chicken and Pineapple. I had Green Curry with Chicken and Veggies. We’d come back again in a heartbeat!!

Having read the fab reviews, we booked this for our wedding anniversary as we love Thai food. The food was good, although much spicier than the waiter told us, but there is no atmosphere. It feel like sitting in someone's living room with some decorations...up. The lighting was so bright for an evening meal. I would go again with friends but it is not a place I would choose for a romantic dinner out. There is no parking so you need to walk quite a distance if it's a busy evening.
