I ordered the Stew Peas (oxtail) and Mac and cheese. I was told that they were out of the stew peas (oxtail). I ended up getting the curry goat. Everything was delicious. I RECOMMEND

I’m fairly surprised with how high these ratings are,when walking into the store it was clean and organized but when ordering my food, the person serving my food had a bit of an attitude I asked for rice and peas with Mac and cheese. He got the rice from the back and poured the stew but after bringing my food to the front I realized the rice was white rice but I didn’t want White rice and I stated that after seeing him bring it to the front but he looked annoyed and I didn’t want him to make me another batch so I said it was fine.As I’m eating the food I realized the Mac and cheese is NOT BAKED I kid you not, it was slimey Mac and cheese with chedder cheese on top so it looked baked. There wasn’t enough stew to eat with all that rice. I was kind of disappointedThe flavor of the stew was good even though I wish more was poured. The flavor of the stew is what is keeping the rating high as well as the clean environment

They are literally the best Lil spot in the whole bronx, I came from 161st to get their food. her supper also chicken soup and the gorgeous pea chicken soup soou good.

This place is mos def a 24hr joint, my favorites is the mac and cheese, curry chicken?, you rice is okay. the fried chicken could be better, it is not season good and it is in the regular hard...smh...you tiger?knochen is too expensive..ijs , I am from harlem.
