Amazing Place for food and drinks! Actually I wanted to give 5* first, because we had the most wonderful day and hostess gave us super cool table with the view. But. What User dislikes about Sam's Anchor Cafe:
We went on a summer sunday and it was really really crowded outside, so we seat inside and it was probably a better choice. Service was ok, the server was polite so it made the wait better. The food it’s good, the lobster roll was good and the fishfrom the tacos were fresh. A little overpriced still. View all feedback.
Lobster Roll was very disappointing. Meat was the underbelly, very skimpy, and not from the claw or midsection. No white meat. Chips were stale. My previous Roll was abundant with gorgeous and generous white meat and the chips were perfect.
The lobster roll was gross! Too much spice. It was totally coated in herbs. It wasn't cooked correctly either. Never again.
Set right on the water of the San Francisco Bay, this is a great place to brunch on a Sunday morning. They have a fantastic choice of meals that range from meatless to include delicacies like lobster and crab cake. The make fantastic **** mary’s and mimosas. They are very accommodating with large crowds if you get there early. If you don’t get there by 11:30 or so, expect to wait. But they have a great place to just drink and hang while waiting for the table.
Tucked away from the wind and fog in Tiburon is Sam’s Cafe. With a huge patio that becomes almost standing room only during the summer, Sam’s serves up really great **** Mary’s, Electric Lemonades, and seafood. But more importantly, you get to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful scenery (nature as well as people!
Many restaurants on the water take a churn-n-burn approach to their moors. The water and the views are enough to keep things going. Sam's not that...
