We went on a summer sunday and it was really really crowded outside, so we seat inside and it was probably a better choice. Service was ok, the server was polite so it made the wait better. The food it’s good, the lobster roll was good and the fish from the tacos were fresh. A little overpriced still. View all feedback.
What Celestine Flatley doesn't like about Sam's Anchor Cafe:
Location is good, but food and wine are average or below. Ordered oysters, lobster roll and cioppino, and although the oysters were amazing, I'd rank the latter 2 at the lowest quartile of those I've tried. Service is overwhelmed if it's a busy day. View all feedback.
Set right on the water of the San Francisco Bay, this is a great place to brunch on a Sunday morning. They have a fantastic choice of meals that range from meatless to include delicacies like lobster and crab cake. The make fantastic **** mary’s and mimosas. They are very accommodating with large crowds if you get there early. If you don’t get there by 11:30 or so, expect to wait. But they have a great place to just drink and hang while waiting for the table.
Tucked away from the wind and fog in Tiburon is Sam’s Cafe. With a huge patio that becomes almost standing room only during the summer, Sam’s serves up really great **** Mary’s, Electric Lemonades, and seafood. But more importantly, you get to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful scenery (nature as well as people!
Amazing place for food and drinks! Actually, I wanted to give 5* first, because we had the most beautiful day and hostess gave us super cool table with the view. But. Eating came before drinks, my man beer arrived before my drink. The salad with crabs? is more experience than crab toas! Get the toast, not salad!!! It's a much better dish, salad gas to mayonnaise? Unhealthy! Crab Toast is delicious, but side salad had a lot of lemon? Juice! Basically: Vibe fantastic!!! 5? Food needs improvement!
It was a great afternoon contract. And it was a great coincidence. We would go to another restaurant, but they closed this time. So we were already here in Tiburon), and Sam?s seemed interesting. After we got in, I ordered fish and chips. It only sounded a normal meal, holy cow! It was so good! Fish was fresh, and chips were crispy and tasty with their special recipe. We also had other records. Everything was excellent. Atmosphere was amazing, it was perfect for our lunch. We can see San Francisco over the bay. The restaurant was crowded with locals. The staff were helpful, glad we chose this place. If you? ve was never here, pls try out!
