My friends and I stopped by for a little coffee and dessert after lunch, and couldn't have been more suprised. It reminded me of a coffee place in Paris with the small tables, a lot of people, and great atmosphere. We all had coffees and desserts. Everything was well made and good. We especially liked the little cheesecake fruit dessert. It is right across the street from the original Ceasar's hotel and restaurant in... View all feedback.
Good coffee, good breakfast with fancy but flavorful options. Benedict eggs and the chilaquiles were very good. Coffee was also good. Well located. Service was standard but friendly.
Praga was a great place to stop in for a latte to begin the day. This was my first stop on Avenida Revolucion, and I watched the vendors set up their shops and the zonkey herders fix-up their photo ops. This was a nice start that served as a gentle reminder that every day doesn't need to be face paced and hectic.
We usually go there for breakfast, although our last visit was not the best due to a "new" server, who really lacked all kind of skills.. (young kid)All other times our server has provided excellent serviceMy only objection is that we find the portions on the smaller end of the scale, so what we have done is to order another plate to share.
The coffee is very very good and served so elegantly. For breakfast, I had the "Herman" which was just okay at best. My son's Chillaquillas were a better bet. On another day we both had the savory crepe which was very large and very tasty. I would like to try it in the afternoon sometime. I suppose I would also like to try the desserts as well! The service was very good and prompt.
We was on a day trip to Mexico from San Diego. We wanted to sit down, take a coffee and relax. Praga cafe was a great place. Good service from the staff, and we was served quickly.
