Although disappointed by the lack of frozen margaritas, the food and service received positive feedback. A family returning after 30 years found the familiar flavors of the Beef Bean and Cheese Burraladas to be just as satisfying. Regular customers enjoyed the Americanized Mexican food, especially highlighting the crab nachos and funky dip. Overall, Carmel's offers quality food, large portions, and affordable prices, making it a popular choice, especially during the summer months on the patio. The positive vibe and attentive service make it a favorite for many, including families and out-of-town visitors.
Great food and margaritas along with good service. One of our favs Ambiance is authentic,which just makes everything taste even better.
We were seated promptly and enjoyed delicious food that arrived quickly and hot. The service was exceptional, with our waitress being very friendly, polite, and attentive to our needs.
Pricey 5.75 tiny margaritas. Plenty of other reasonable Mexican restaurants with amazing reasonably priced food.
I went to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at 3:00. The music was way too loud for the time of day, causing customers to have to talk or yell to be heard. The bartender was also really loud at times.
I was hoping to grab a frozen margarita after a long day at work, but our server said they were temporarily out of frozen margaritas! I was disappointed to say the least!
