I lived five years in los angeles and would often travel south to baja california, mexiko. I would eat in the small towns that gave me the experience of identifying and appreciate real Mexican cuisine. el tipico is the right one, and that's hard to find. what I liked best about el tipico is the simpleness of fresh ingredients that are only prepared for them. they are clearly not mass production of food and heat it. also they are just on some ketchup salsa and call it mexican. I recommend to know. only advise, it is probably quite different from what they are used to. it is an improvement and you will love it.
I highly recommend el tipico for their catering requirements! fresh high quality DELICIOUS food and excellent customer service. it is also ingenious to only lead or go for a meal
We ate there twice on our last trip to mackinac island, michigan. eating was very good. Cheese dip is served in a long dish bowl. margaritas are always special. our server was very nice and fast. highly recommended.
Everything about El Tipico was fantastic! The service was great. We were met with smiles and helpful suggestions. A nice atmosphere to enjoy our dinner. The food was great. Very fresh and visually appealing as well as very tasty. The salsa couldn't have been fresher and really went well with the fresh and light chips. When our dinners arrived they looked so good. Each plate was visually appetizing with such fresh and vibrant colors. Then each bite was so tasty. This has become our go to spot!
As always our meal was fantastic. El Tipico is one of the best restaurants in Toledo.My wife and I have been coming for five years and we love it. There are few restaurants around that use ingredients that are as fresh and of the quality that they use. It really makes a difference.I think the ET nachos are the best appetizer I've ever had and we always get them.The food always comes out prepared to perfection and very hot. I love the family history on the walls. Its a great dining experience.Our server was great. She was a very memorable person and she has been our server most of the times we have come in. We were happy to see her last night.Your restaurant is an absolute local treasure. Thank you
