Barolos Italiano - Toowong

Easily one of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane. It's home to the best duck IMO and my go to when I'm craving a high quality steak. Both are brilliant here and won't break the bank! I always start with the bread and butter here, and recommend the steak tartare and oysters. The steak and duck were faultless. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested, beautifully seasoned and so tender. The duck is best in Brisbane blushing pink, crispy skin and fat rendered. Went down an absolute treat with the crispy fries and nicely charred broccilini. On top of the delicious food, I love the consistency and the service here (special shoutout to the lovely Flo who always greets us with a smile and makes our dining experience more enjoyable).

Waited more than 30 mins for 2 pasta dishes (ordered nothing else) The restaurant only had 5 occupied tables including ourselves (not very busy). Unfortunate that the wait time brought the overall experience down. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

The best in the biz! The perfect place to dine in at. Their entire menu is second to none. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, affordable place to dine in. Their sourdough and butter is a must! 10/10!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Perfect place to go to for a date night or when you want good food. The staff are amazing! They are super friendly and accommodating I would definitely recommend the Koji Duck and their Sour Dough with truffle butter!
