The Deli serves great coffee. The atmosphere is fresh and trendy but the seating is limited, so if you want to try it out, get there early on a Saturday morning. The food is fresh and there's a lot of gourmet food to tempt you to buy something exotic to take home. View all feedback.
Have always popped into this deli when visiting Toowoomba. On this occasion we decided to grab some lunch. We were waiting to be served, when the guy making coffees asked if we were ok. We asked what the soup of the day was, and he then turned to the 2 people in the kitchen and asked them. One response was, "I'm on a break", and the older lady who just stood willing a toasty to cook, just pointed to the deli counter. We then could see what the soup was, as they were in take away containers ( all with different dates on them). We both just wanted to walk out. No one seemed to care about the customer. The coffee guy was doing a good job, although he obviously had a mate standing there talking to him, which I'm sure was more of a hindrance. We made our order. It was delivered to us after some wait, after all they only had to reheat it, and It was not busy, by the older lady who was polite and friendly. The food was very tasty, although I sent my tea back, as it had a terrible taste to it (think it may have been Toowoomba's water), but after eating our food the tea hadn't arrived, so we left. This business didn't seem to have any urgency about it, just a group of people left to their own devices with no obvious leader. I wonder how these business's survive. The food was good, but service was lousy.
These guys do the best coffee in Toowoomba. They also have some of the yummiest homemade food and you can get your groceries and specialist grocery items while you are there. Yummy!!!!!
One of our favourite spots in town. The atmosphere is good regardless of whether it's full or you are the only one there. The owners are lovely, staff are hard working and friendly. The food is great and there are always a variation of home-made treats to choose from. There is a good range of food to shop and specialties that make great gifts. Plus they sell fresh market flowers. Long story short- worth a visit.
Excellent food and fast service here. I've had excellent filos, pesto and bacon fettuccine and certainly eyed off many other decadent treats from this cozy place which is only a short walk from work. Great offerings of fresh flowers also.
If you are a lover of coffee like myself this is THE coffee shop in Toowoomba. I've tried them all and this one trumps them all. It's got the most amazing selection of rare foods too.
