Stylish, modern restaurant with a fresh take on locally sourced ingredients. If the crispy duck salad is in the menu it’s a must order. One of the best dishes I’ve eaten all year. Another is Crispy pig cheek, need I say more. Worth a try. View all feedback.
What Abagail Ziemann doesn't like about Nota Bene:
whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood. New Canadian restaurant conveniently located on the corner of University and Queen. Service: I thought our hostess and servers that day were super friendly
I've been here a couple of times and I have to say it's always a hit and miss with the food, but ambience and service is always superb.
The food came out before the wine even arrived. Spending $200 on a bottle of wine for a salad and two pastas seems excessive.
Appetizer. this was amazing worth, good service and great eating. we arrived late and thought we had only time for one. our waiter was fantastic and accommodating. we have been quickly made water and a summary of the 3 courses that could be served in our time frame. wonderful! highly recommended.
