This restaurant is incredibly efficient and quick. You can choose between noodles or rice as your starch, and 1, 2, or 3 proteins. It's simple and straightforward. I recommend trying the HoFun noodles with either the Crispy Ginger Beef or General Tao's Chicken, or the Fried Rice with Cashew or Chilli Chicken - you can't go wrong with any of these combos. If you're searching for a spicy Chinese Szechuan restaurant in the Eaton Center, check out this place in their food court (Urban Eatery). You won't be let down. They offer both ready-to-eat options and custom-made dishes on their menu. Expect to spend around $22-30 CAD for a meal for two.
This is THE BEST restaurant at the Eaton's centre food court! The food tastes really good. I usually go for the general tso chicken (probably their most popular dish, or dim sum (I could eat the dumplings for breakfast lunch and dinner! <br/ <br/ It's also very fresh. The restaurant is actually really popular (and deserves higher ratings so they have to make new batches of food often. At the end of the day whatever is left is sold at discount or taken home by the employees so they have to start a new batch in the morning. <br/ <br/ The other reviewer Callum doesn't know anything: <br/ <br/ The sesame balls are excellent. LOL this guy added soya sauce to them (theyre sweet and didn't like it! of course it would taste bad eaten like that How is this the restaurants fault!?<br/ <br/ Not all of the menu options were available... I wanna slap dis guy. They have a display case with the food in it. Choose from what you see there and stop holding up the line. Besides, all they need to have is dim sum and general tso. Id give them a 5 even if those were the only options they had.<br/ <br/ The food was cold... no it wasnt... there is nothing cold in the display case. Its so hot, I sometimes can't see the food from the condensation! It could have been warm though, which is perfect. Why would anyone want their dim sum to be hot and then you have to wait for it to cool down anyway?<br/ <br/ The food is frozen. Im sure it is... whats your point? Freezing food helps to preserve its freshness. You want everything to be hand made on site? your dumplings hand stuffed? chicken hand general tsoed? let me remind you, youre in a mall food court and paid like $7 for the meal. Besides, unless im at a 5 star restaurant, I personally would rather have a restaurant serve me frozen food because I know its fresh and I know not a lot of hands touched it.
I visited a restaurant located in the Royal Bank tower on the PATH. The food is delicious, affordable, and service is quick.
I’m a big fan of indian food, so when i was looking for a quick bite at the eaton centre i figured amaya express would be a reasonable option.
