Everyone in Toronto needs to eat pho here the taste was unreal. Cute inside but you go for the food not the decor. Really big prawns and you will not leave hungry. View all feedback.
What Ryleigh Harris doesn't like about Anh Dao Restaurant:
I may not have been lucky but I was very disappointed by this little restaurant. First there is very cold because the door doesn't close well, so either the server had to close it every time or the customers! And I can tell you that in March toronto, it's not hot. Then I ordered a bun with beef and nems. The noodles arrived cold, bathing more or less in the salad. Beef not bad but without more and the nems had nothin... View all feedback.
This is a family run restaurant. The signature dish is Vietnamese wrap( Nam Nheung). It comes with rice paper wrap, grill pork or beef( your choice), fresh vegetable and homemade sauce. You have to roll it yourself. Iced coffee is very nice.
Simple, no-frill Vietnamese restaurant on busy Spadina street, in the heart of Toronto's Chinatown,, with a rather extensive menu. I had a nice spicy beef & noodle soup (sorry I do not remember its name!). We were a group of 9 and everybody liked their food. Prices are ok.
Vietnamese food is my favourite and this place is the best I've had in a long time. We had the fresh rolls an Pho Ga (chicken soup). When we started going to Vitnamese restaurants there was two chicken soups often available. The Pho Ga was mostly white meat in a mild flavoured soup and the Pho Ga Nuong a more flavourful dark meat marinated chicken in lemon-grass soup. Lately the quality of the chicken in the Pho Ga had been slipping. There would often be dark meat with skin and grizzle. Not at this place! The chicken is perfect, all white meat and very tasty. The fresh roll were the best I'd ever had. The prices were good but I wish they had a bigger soup bowl option. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely return.
Pho is one of my favourite Asian soups. I really enjoy it in Anh Dao. It was cheap, fast and yammy. I almost passed this place coz outside it doesn't look as good, luckily I saw some people leaving so decided to go in. And it was really great!
My friend referred me to this place. It's one of the best Vietnamese food in Toronto. The soup and the noodle are great. I like the pork a lot. The ice Vietnamese coffee is also good. I'm lucky to arrive here early so that I don't need to wait for tables. I'll come again if I visit Toronto next time.
