Banknote Bar Corktown - Toronto

I will say that the waitress/server was a very attractive person and I don't owe it in any wise way. but I ordered a burger and it came in ~5 minutes (approximately). this was a bit of a red flag, since in the regular a burger does not need this little time to cook. I take a bite into her, it reminded of the burgers I had as a child in big school type BBQ trips. it was great for the 8-year-old version of me, but if I didn't pay 20 for it so much. my best guess is that the burger meat was precooked and kept in a refrigerator and the cook/cook again warmed up in the grill as they order. I had two bites and that was all I could. the pommes were nothing to write home about mcdonalds type cut, but they tasted a bit, but not very. let's just say the pommes were in order with something space for improvements. all my 2 stars are provided by the very friendly service that has been provided and not completely provided for eating itself. I hope that this feedback will be perceived as constructive and that the banknote accepts this as an opportunity to improve its food. it looks as if they were good at setting up the right service employees.

Cool cozy place. decent photo and beer. a good place to meet with their friends and colleagues.

Theny is the hands down the best server I ever had. he's doing our nights. we went to the birthday of my friend and he brought a cake that had been cut in the form of her first beginning. many thanks theny!

Banknote is a great bar, love their brunch menu. Also their home fries are amazing. Just those on their won is worth the visit.I was there this weekend on Sunday for brunch. I was having a large group together and called before hand. Banknote was more then accommodating they took my reservation for 30 and had no problem putting it together.Would recommend to anyone, this place is great.

Comfortable patio, friendly service, and the food was pretty good too.
