This place is amazing, love the presence of the owner on the floor because the attention to detail is there. The food was amazing, the server was new but there were multiple senior servers that were continually checking on us to ensure things were good. My only negative is that we requested a specific table due to it being our anniversary and that being the table we had our first date on and it wasn't met... Very ver... View all feedback.
What RickK doesn't like about Boehmer:
Generally it was a good experience. My venison was barely warm when I got it though, and not as flavourful as I expected. The staff were really good. No complaints about the other food. View all feedback.
I want to give a 4.5... cause they changed the venison tartar lol... But it really is a great place ... Great food... Great vibe..great service ... deserving of a 5... Chef Paul and I have mutual friends that's how I found out about the place...great find.. worth checking out... You'll be back
Chef Paul Boehmer is a master. His sauces make me swoon. The passion for local ingredients is strong. Chat with GM Gordon who will pick the perfect wine for your meal. This is the highest end food in a very cool casual environment. I am addicted to house smoked trout, homemade pate and something saucy. Desserts are always a hit.
I love going to Boehmer! Chef 's a good friend, and we always feel so comfortable and 'at home. ' I had the bison with gnocchi, and it was perfectly cooked and the gnocchi were excellent too, swirling in the jus the entire dish melted in my mouth. Starters were Oysters, Oysters, Oysters from Oyster Boy, on Queen St. W.. Another star was the wine list, you really have to visit Boehmer to experience the open kitchen, the perfect and friendly service and atmosphere.
One of the best restaurant if not be best restaurant I'm eating at and my girlfriend we loved it it was amazing the chefs are on fire the food is amazing the service is spectacular the pictures on the wall is like looking at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland accept your in f Toronto and Chef Paul has the personality of a king he walks around and talks to his customers even though sometimes it's hard because they're all so busy you got private rooms to bring your corporate parties to the because they're all so busy you got private rooms to bring your corporate parties to the and with Christmas coming up did my private rooms that hold up to 15 20 people so you can bring your stuff and you're not bothered anyways that's the original Kid Rock review we will be going there in the next week or two Carol this is the page I was telling you about can you invite her to please call last name is Kyle
