I've had this dish in at least a dozen Vietnamese restaurants around Toronto, including The Golden Turtle, and Com Tam Dao Vien's is by far the best. Unlike the others restaurants, in addition to the lemongrass and the chicken, the dish has bean sprouts, onions and green & red peppers. It is so good that I probably won't ever eat again at any of the others. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Com Tam Dao Vien:
Recently, I just dropped by to have Pho for lunch, but I have found the quality has been decreased a lot! The taste of soup used for Pho is no longer consider Vietnamese traditional taste. It just has been modified!Sadly, I have to say that because I used to be a regular customer for the past few years. Possibly the chef has been changed or restaurant is aiming to target different groups of customers. Anyway, I love... View all feedback.

Clean, tasty, big choice and reasonable prices. The guys are a bit impeding, however hey try to do their best:)
Have been here a few times but won't be returning. The first few times we had Pho and that was okay. This last visit i had Cantonese Chow Mein and my friend had Congee with chicken, with fresh rolls for starters. The fresh rolls were just okay but at $4.50 for two they definitely weren't worth it, places like Ginger i pay $1.25 apiece. My friends Congee was decent but the chicken in it seemed to be all the leftover bits, fat etc. My Chow Mein had a variety of things in it i wasn't used to.. like liver, fish balls, the broth was a bland flavour. The service seemed haphazard as to when you came in and when you got served, we waited while others who came in after us got served in spite of my trying to get the waiters attention.
Ordered beef pho, got tripe and beef balls. Was given the wrong order, didn't complain (I never do in a restaurant as I don't trust cooks to not mess with my food). Paid and left. Not going to return.
