What User doesn't like about Darband:
strangely decorated restaurant with tables and chairs that look like they were bought at The Brick in 1992. You'll get a bag of bread when you order. A BAG! A WHOLE BAG - PLASTIC AND EVERYTHING?! It was untidy and uncomfortable. View all feedback.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time. Although the service is still excellent, I have recently noticed a decline in the quality and taste of the food compared to previous visits. The flavors have changed and the dishes that I once enjoyed are now lacking their former appeal. I hope for an improvement in the near future as this place holds sentimental value for me.
We were there with our friends. The food is always great. Recently they added a new dish with two mahiche, which taste great. I recommend this place to all Persians and Non persians to have a great food experience.
We were there at 9 pm during a long weekend for our first visit. We didn’t have reservation but they kindly offered us a table despite it was a busy night. I liked their sense of helpfulness and the way they tried to have us, especially because we had a guest with us and we really wanted to eat there. The food was big and delicious. The cutlery was clean. The staff were kind. The atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. We will definitely come back. I recommend booking your table well in advance during weekends.
You won’t think much of this place just walking/driving by it. Relatively small space. Always packed. AND 24hrs! The cold appetizer with olives is surprisingly delicious. As is the sweet-zesty garlic thing! Wow!Right down to the plain yogurt if you can believe. How? So the chicken breast kabob is top notch. The ground beef kabob is also way better than average. My friend was beside himself with disbelief at the taste of everything we had!Lamb heart kabob taste like liver but much gamier. Not into that so much but it was good. If you’re thinking about this place, don’t. Just go!You’re welcome. :
I don’t have words for Darband. The food speaks for itself. This little Persian place is tucked in a tiny plaza with a Subway and is next door neighbors with some fake Chinese restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the surroundings though. Despite how crappy the place looks from the outside, the food inside will have you coming back time and time again.
