Contribute FeedbackKi Modern Japanese Bar offers a fresh take on traditional Japanese cuisine in Toronto's bustling financial district. Divided into cozy dining sections, the restaurant provides a lively atmosphere for business meetings or casual gatherings. While some diners found the food to be average in quality and lacking in flavor post-lockdown, others enjoyed the fantastic dishes and friendly service. With a great selection of cocktails, wines, and sake, Ki remains a go-to spot for many, despite occasional disappointments. Overall, Ki offers an enjoyable dining experience, blending tasty dishes with a trendy vibe that keeps customers coming back for more.
Took my wife for her birthday then a concert the food was excellent love the tempura shrimp I would definitely recommend this place to my friends
The service was very fast, we were early for our reservation and they were still able to seat us quickly! The food was absolutely delicious, everything we ordered was great!
Fabulous as always. We eat there quite often and are never disappointed
There is a reason why this restaurant has been around for as long as it has. It was our first time there and it didn't disappoint. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable, and provided some great suggestions. We would definitely go back to try other items on the menu as everything looked amazing.
Ki is clearly an upscale restaurant with highly trained staff, beautiful interior, elaborate menu and expansive drink selection. There are no criticisms for Ki if you are looking for contemporary Japanese food with a fusion spin. If you are hoping to get simple sushi, this may not be the restaurant for you, as there is a heavy emphasis on experimentation eggplant and miso, unique sauces to name a few! The fish is high quality, but can be over powered by the rest of the non traditional ingredients. If you are going with guests that are so so about sushi/fish, there is alot on the menu that they can still enjoy like sirloin and other cooled meat dishes. Overall, a nice experience but very pricey.
