Contribute FeedbackKibo Sushi in Etobicoke has received mixed reviews recently. Some customers found the atmosphere and service lacking, with complaints about small portions and poor attitudes. However, other loyal customers have praised the cozy ambiance, delicious sushi, and excellent service. The food, prices, and overall experience have been positive for many, but some have been put off by the constant stream of delivery people coming in and out. Despite the mixed feedback, Kibo Sushi seems to have a dedicated fan base who appreciate the authentic Japanese flavors and cozy atmosphere.
Food is bad. Heavy mayo goop on everything. Barely any fish in the premium rolls or other dishes. Whoever is working this kitchen doesn’t have good taste or skills.Dishes are DIRTY. Look inside the blue water cups. They have built up gunk in the bottom. Disgusting.Service is ok. Friendly-ish but inattentive and requires multiple follow ups.Cute place, nice atmosphere, but doesn’t follow through.
I have ordered from this restaurant through Uber many times in the past without any issues, so I would typically give it a 3-star rating. However, tonight I can only give it 1 star. The vegetable tempura was served ice cold and soggy, and the side salad, which usually comes in a full container, only had 7 pieces of lettuce and a few shavings of carrot. It seems like they ran out of lettuce while preparing my order. The sushi rolls, which are usually top-notch, were also disappointing tonight, receiving only 1 star. The order took much longer than usual, with a 30-minute wait for the "preparing order" status. On the bright side, the delivery driver arrived at my location within 6 minutes of picking up the food at the restaurant. Overall, I will likely not be ordering from this place again for a while.
I love Kibo! I started going there when it was first opened as Asahi on Walker Ave and Summerhill. The atmosphere is cozy and they play jazzy music while serving amazing sushi. I have been a loyal customer for over 12 years and always bring my family and friends, who are now also hooked. In my opinion, it's the best sushi in Toronto!
The size of the salmon on the sushi here is so small that’s pathetic, worst place I’ve been to sorry if you respect your money go to another sushi restaurant in
I had no idea something as simple as almond butter toast could be so good!!!!!
