Needed some fuel after a morning of sightseeing! This spot is a hit! Got the California roll and dragon roll. Very tasty. The miso soup was very flavorful as well! Overall, very good eats! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kirei Sushi and Bar:
Despite what Trip Advisor says about Kirei's hours, this restaurant is closed and appears to have been closed since some time in April. We went there last night and found a totally empty building with signs on two windows indicating there will an auction of the restaurant equipment. View all feedback.
Nicely decorated, traditional style rooms in the back. The seafood was excellent. Best Takoyaki I've had.
I have been to this place a handful of times as it is convenient to my house an the food has been consistently average, with fairly good ambiance. Today my visit was much worse. I asked to sit on the patio and if it would be possible to put up an umbrella (there were several that I could see were available that weren't currently in use). The waitress tried to put up the umbrella, couldn't, so I suggested I move to a table that had just left that had an umbrella. She had taken my order prior to this occurrence. After I moved, she came to the table and asked me for my order. I re-gave the waitress my order. Anyways, my water never came after asking twice. My tea came with the meal, which was one of the daily specials and took almost an hour after I arrived to be ready. For awhile I considered leaving because I thought they had completely forgotten about me.So the bill comes before I'm even finished my meal, and the waitress asks how I would like to pay. I tell her credit card, and decide that I will not add a tip here and rather provide her with a small tip that was actually not deserved from the huge change collection in my purse. After viewing the credit card print-out, she notifies me that I have not left a tip. I told her that this was intentional. She notifies me that I am supposed to leave a tip. I tell her that last time I checked, tipping was optional and at the consumers discretion for good service. I told her that if leaving a tip was mandatory, it should be added as a service charge to the bill. She said "Fine it's optional" and stormed away.I very rarely do not tip unless the service is just terrible, and in the case I even planned to leave a small tip for this waitress. Needless to say, I did not end up leaving any type of tip and I will not return and do not recommend. Have never had an experience like this before.

We were looking for somewhere to eat for an early dinner and decided to walk down Church street to see what there was. We stumbled upon this sushi place. From the outside it looks like a standard restaurant but once you walk inside the interior is very high class.Since we came for an earlier dinner the place was fairly empty meaning great service. The choices were fun to look at when deciding and what we ended up getting was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would come back here again if I'm in the area.
