Took my brother for a Friday night birthday dinner. Great little spot. Drinks were very good - can't' go wrong with cold beer and a lime margarita. Ordered stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer, they were delicious. Grilled perfectly, not to firm, yet not mushy incredible taste. Nice and hot! Shared a platter of nachos, veggie with black beans, another winner! Also shared an order of quesadilla's which were fantastic. W... View all feedback.

I stopped here on a Bites & Sights food walking tour of the Junction a few weeks ago. Sampled the chorizo taco with potatoes. Not sure if the potatoes needed to be in there to be honest. Just a heads up- the hot sauce is actually hot! Not sure if I would return, but also never really in this area of Toronto. View all feedback.
The food is fantastic at this restaurant. The tacos are incredible, and the service is excellent. The prices are also quite reasonable.
I decided to try a new Mexican restaurant, despite my love for our usual spot. La Rev offers delicious lamb tacos, and I wish they allowed customers to choose three different fillings for their tacos.

Ridiculously long wait for food (and restaurant almost empty)—it was good (however, with how hungry we were, we were not hard to please), but I've had way better Mexican food. Waitress set plate down without any warning of how hot it was -- burned my visiting relative's finger. She didn't come by once to check on us; nor offer water refills. Clearly she preferred to be somewhere else. When she collected the money and returned to the bar/register, she and the beer-drinking patron at the bar bantered about what they considered was a small tip from us. I made her aware that I could hear her, and told her how rude and unprofessional that was. I reminded her of her lousy service, and that she was lucky to get anything (and that perhaps she may have found more money on the table when we left). If waitress reads this...please learn from your mistake, and lose that entitlement attitude, smile more, appreciate that you have a job. God bless.
