Contribute FeedbackLe Neuf in downtown Toronto is a charming gem offering authentic French cuisine. Despite some service hitches, patrons rave about the delicious food and cozy ambiance reminiscent of Paris. From delectable French Onion soup and Mussels to delightful creeps and sandwiches, this restaurant impresses with its elegant and classy vibe. Don't miss out on the heavenly almond croissant that could launch ships. Overall, Le Neuf is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a taste of Parisian elegance in the heart of Toronto.
I was looking forward to eating dinner at Le Neuf with a friend who had recently returned from Paris. I booked a table online through Open Table, and got the reminder notice the day prior. When we arrived at the restaurant as planned at pm (on a Tues), the place was closed. No sign on the door explaining why. I had not received any call or email telling me that they would be closed. I tried calling the phone number on OT listing, and got a voicemail recording asking me to leave a message. I was disappointed to not have been advised in advance of whatever problem they were experiencing. Or did they sense it was not going to be a busy night and thought they would cut their losses and just not open?
Disappointing. Bland food. One server at lunch too busy to serve us most of the time.
It really was a cafe as the name suggested and not a restaurant. We had to ask for the music to be turned down as it was not allowing any conversation. The food was acceptable but in a seafood stew one would expect the shrimp to be peeled. To me this negligence ruined the meal.
It is cute French place with very good food and in a great location. I loved the place and music.
This was our first visit to Le Neuf and we are already planning another soon. Enjoyed everything about the cafe ..
