My wife and I are regulars at Maki Sushi on 45 Wicksteed Avenue. We normally get one of the Bento Box dinners. We have talked to the owner on a number of occasions; he is dedicated to making the dining experience a great one for his customers. What User doesn't like about Maki Sushi:
My husband and I went here for an early lunch and we were very disappointed. Our maki rolls (green dragon and maki roll) were 80% cucumber, and the har gow did not taste good. Even the green tea was sub-par.The service was very friendly, but that wasn't enough to make up for the food. View all feedback.
The service was good and the fish was deliciously fresh. Unfortunately, they did not have gluten-free soy sauce available during our visit.
The food was good but the lady server wasn't friendly I don't know if the prices are the best only bought bubble tea
They are decent depending on when you go. Sometimes, they're very great and other times (2-3 times) we visited, they seem in a rush and don't care much. Some of the menu doesn't seem authentic but other menu items are also very delicious.
I always enjoy this location for it’s tempura. I”m not a fan of sushi but love a good bento box. Prices are reasonable and service is great.
I just finished my order and the food is awful. The chicken teriyaki tastes like bananas and is extremely unappetizing. The miso soup has no flavor at all. Save your money and avoid eating here. If I could, I would give this place zero stars.
