Very good food and service. br/ br/ Don't judge a book by its cover. I was hesitant to walk in when I saw the outside but I would have missed a great experience if we had turned around. View all feedback.
What Gaylord Schuster doesn't like about The George Street Diner:
Food was ok, average breakfast food. Not worth waiting in line. Faster taking dirty plates off the table than taking the food order and refilling coffee. A good spot if you aren't interested in attentive service. View all feedback.
We go here frequently for sunday breakfast, brunch of lunch. They serve awesome burgers and irish breakfasts with the most awesome soda bread home cooked. all of their food is freshly made the night before or morning of. They have pies and muffins and coffee. They have great hospitality. Must try- be ready to wait for a seat though as this spot is small and for people that know the know. :-)
This is a kitchy diner and they serve diner food that is nothing to rave about but it is good and the atmosphere is their own. It can be very busy on weekends for brunch but in mid afternoon it isn't too hard to get a seat.

Run, don't walk, to The George Street Diner. Amazing Irish Breakfast (organic eggs, peameal bacon, real potatoes, beans, tomatoes) and the best part - homemade Irish Soda bread with homemade marmalade - who does that anymore?A classic diner experience - real people, genuine hospitality Well Done!
I visit this diner quite often , they serve a good Irish breakfast and a great cup of tea , You might have to wait for your seat outside but it's worth it .
