Very nice Vietnamese restaurant and all foods are delicious, we tried some rice and rice noodle dishes all taste good and fresh.Very affordable price too, between $13-$16/per dish, but don't expect a lot of service other than food delivery to your table. 3 people dinner for less than $50, I have no complaint at all.Parking: 200 spots View all feedback.
What Monica Southcott doesn't like about Vietnam Noodle Star Ltd:
The food quality has really went down over the years. Food was decent a few years back and when I went back recently it wasn't even decent. I got the pho; it was meh. Soup wasn't very good, the meat stayed kinda red at parts even though I didn't get raw meat, but noodles and beef balls were OK. The vermicelli though was just bad. The noodle, meat and spring roll just tasted like straight plastic. I don't know if this... View all feedback.
This is a great pho place. The large is actually a large and not just a small in a bigger bowl and drowned with extra soup. I'm like, crazy full now! I ordered the house special pho, you know if a pho place is good if the house special is good because it has all the toppings. There's heaps of different meat cuts, tendon and two balls, the soup was hot enough to get my nose running and tasty. Service is great too, as soon as you walk in they direct you to a table, give you a pot of tea and your utensils. The price was very good for the portion of the food too. I only took a star off for the atmosphere, the place is very echo-y and the sound of dishes and plates being gathered and washed in the background is crazy loud. I had to practically yell to talk to the people at my table.
Customer service here is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. I arrived and was seated promptly, then server didn 't acknowledge us or anything and threw the menu, paper and pen on the table. I was expecting this, most asian restaurants that I go to are like this which is not out of the ordinary especially the busy ones. I finished my meal and was going to pay for my order. This is where it started to go downhill. I was paying with card. The menu pops up and I pressed no tip and I go and try to tap my phone on the machine. Mind you the lady is standing right in-front of me watching my every move. The transaction didn 't go through because my phone was too far away from the RF reader. An error message pops up. The lady told me, you have to tip first before you pay, that is why the error message popped up . I knew the reason why the message popped up was because my phone was too far away from the RF reader and not because of the tips. Lady resets system and I press no tip again and the transaction goes through. After, the lady comes around the counter and proceeds to yell at me and say WHERE IS TIP!?, YOU NEED TO TIP FIRST BEFORE YOU CAN LEAVE . I told her That the transaction went through and she yells at me again, NO LEAVE UNTIL YOU TIP! . I just walked away and on my way out she yelled, DON 'T COME AGAIN! in-front of all the customers causing a commotion.
The food sucks. Not enough soup in pho bowl. The uncooked rare beef remained red and cold. I asked for a bit more soup, but they wanted to charge extra. Noodles were too soft. The grilled pork with vermicelli were tough and dry.

This was probably the worst Pho I've ever had. Broth was luke warm and didn't even cook the meat. Milkshake was warm anf noodles were overcooked. You have been warned. Never coming here again. Met all the red flags of what Pho should neverbe.
