We loved the motel. Room has lovely view over to Magnetic Island. Very clean. Staff friendly. Definitely stay here again. Be careful changes to the road up Castle hill . GPS is not accurate has not adjusted changes. Sturt street up Stokes street to far as go and turn left. On right. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ridgemont Executive Restaurant:
Upon arrival the room appeared to need a fair amount of attention . Window unable to close so air conditioning ineffective , bed caster wheel laying on floor next to bed making bed uneven . No quilt on bed just sheet . Then to our surprise a young Asian lady in the next door room was entertaining male visitors half hourly and every word and movement was heard from our room . Wow!! Great little Motel with amazing Views and a great Restaurant!! Make sure you try the the Chicken Neptune when there, was Amazing.
The first night we had the curry, the second night we had steaks. Both meals were great, the wines were nice, the price was reasonable, the service was "homey" (in a good way) and the open-air restaurant with views to Magnetic Island was, frankly, jaw-dropping!

Had the best Chinese Banquet dinner ever in Townsville. Since the food in Townsville is a bit ordinary.
I tried Motel restaurant enjoyed what I had but when in Townsville and next to ocean seafood is great. There are some nice Thai restaurants my pick Mariams Thai excellent eat in or take away about 6 minutes drive from motel
