Restaurant "Zum Schlosschen"

Were eating here and they had ordered a 3 go menu and I ate a la carte.Using was friendly and courteous eating was good and sufficient.

"to make a joke" is the restaurant of the hotel moselschlösschen. after a long walk, his beer garden lured above the moselufer and we decided to stay there after a look into the menu. the facility was clean and well maintained, the service nice and flotted. also outside the opening hours of the restaurant (after 14:00 a.m.) you get speis and drank there - a vesper prepared in the pavillon, cake or ice cream. bratwurst with potato/grind salad, flaky cake, salad bowl, plus a few rudels... all tasty and qualitatiw not to complain. as always have their price. so it is worth paying with card. Unfortunately, the terminal does not come to the table, instead the service accompanies the gast to the recipe (the pin is often required).

In the frame we spent 4 days there. from the greeting by the staff on the first evening with a delicious riesling sekt to the seminar hostings, the lovingly arranged and very lush breakfast selection to the respective meals with several courses, I can only highlight the friendliness and attention as well as the quality of the served food. the restaurant was completely renovated in early 2017 and surprised with a modern ambiente in old carpenters, a winter garden and a cozy fireplace. recommend at any time!

We stayed at the hotel and since the restaurant looked very nice and seemed of high quality we decided to spend an evening there and a dinner for the whole family. That was not a good decision. I gave this restaurant 1 out of 5 stars and this star is only for the surroundings / atmosphere. Our 2 children fought with their food from the children's menu my 8 years old laboriously tried to eat his best, while our 11 years old could only eat a few bites before they give up and refuse to eat the rest (we had to go to another restaurant later at night, since he was hungry). I and my wife went for a 3-course menu and were extremely disappointed by any dish, they even got stomach pain shortly after our departure. In short, I would never eat again in this restaurant, but I could go there to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

After the terrible hosting in Belle Époque we decided not to look for the best out of the estate and stay in our hotel. The service here is like a spa treatment after the cold shower of Belle Époque. Delicious cuisine, beautiful atmosphere, beautiful place.
