Dal Mondo Restaurant & Function Centre

We attended a birthday function at this restaurant. The function room and bar are well set out with plenty of tables and seating, making it a very comfortable space. Finger food was served. The small pieces of cut up pizza was inedible and the alternative was a variety of deep fried frozen goods. If this is a sample of what they serve in the restaurant, I certainly won't be giving it a try in the future

Dal Mondo were all booked out Saturday night for dinner seems we need to book earlier by 5 days in advance. So we tried there takeaways instead ordered our mains & sweets delicious tasty food. We had garlic prawns with rice, risotto chicken with white wine sauce & sticky date pudding. Brilliant.

We had coffee in the afternoon sitting on the balcony and thoroughly enjoyed it. Service and coffee was excellent. We then returned that evening for a private function and found it to be an excellent venue. Staff were lovey and it is a great place for a function with good size rooms. The ladies toilets however were quite dirty, 2 cubicles only with one of them the seat was completely broken. There was another function being held on the same night we were there but I still feel the cleanliness of the toilets could have been checked on throughout the night.

Enjoyed dinner here prior to a function. Seemed like. Very family orientated business as they knew a lot of customers who came in and were very welcoming to us.I ordered a wood fired pizza which had a lovely thin crust and wasn't overly burdened with toppings which is the way I like it. Flavour was great but size a little too large for my appetite so half went home for a snack.My companion ordered the chicken risotto which she said was delicious. It was a large serve and surprisingly she ate the lot!Value for money and I'd recommend a visit if you're in the area.

Service was excellent. food was exquisite! It was a very comfortable restaurant and we loved to go back there guaranteed of a good authentic meal!
