I've been to this family restaurant twice now and both times the food and the service has been very good. It was very busy last night (Saturday) which normally means it's a popular restaurant. It serves up great Chinese food and I would recommend a visit. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Wah Do Chinese Restaurant:
I ordered a vege fried rice and garlic prawns. The rice was completely tasteless and had more HUGE chunks of half raw onion than anything else. The garlic prawns were swimming in a gooey sauce....not the kind I've ever had. Prawns poorly cooked and of...More View all feedback.
Better quality than your average Sweet Sour joint. Essentially this restaurant is another chicken sweet corn soup, honey chicken fried rice joint. But they do it better! My favourite dish is the chilli salt and pepper spare ribs.
We get takeaway from here often. Its always great. They do gluten free options as well which is what brought me here to begin with! Also, the food is always ready fast.
Great value highlights were the fried rice and sweet and sour fish. For a local suburban Chinese restaurant it may not be aesthetically a pretty location but the food is decent event by my Chinese standards
Wah Do is a must do!. I normally don't eat Chinese food because I have to watch out for additives, but I seem OK with food from here. I especially love the sweet and sour pork and honey chicken. The pork is crispy outside, but tender and melting inside and not grissley like you get with some places, and the honey chicken is sweet, but not overly sweet, and not too soggy. The outside of the restaurant looks a bit ordinary, very typical of what Aussies expect of a Chinese restaurant to look like. But don't judge the food by what the building looks like. It's worth it!
Good Chinese food at a reasonable price. We ordered honey chicken and Mongolian beef, which had loads of different veggies. The tender meat was of good quality. If you want some cheats easy Chinese takeaway, this could be a great spot for you. Probably not the most inviting environment for a dine in experience however.
