Monterrey Mexican - Tucker

We had been eager to try out this restaurant for some time and finally made it for a late lunch. The staff was friendly and there was a good ratio of staff to tables, so we always received assistance when needed. The salsa was tasty and they had a good selection of hot sauces. I ordered the combo meal which included two cheese enchiladas and a soft chicken taco. Everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed the enchilada sauce and the portion size was generous, perfect for sharing.

Whenever you order any food that comes out on a hot plate or any food at all, its supposed to be hot upon arrival. My fajitas and tacos came warm, no sizzling at all. I waited 20 mins for my order. Help me understand...

Pretty decent restaurant. Food was absolutely tasty. Loved how fast they made it too. The service however, was a bit off. We waited more than 20 minutes after asking for the check. This made it a bit uncomfortable, especially since it was our first time there and we really needed to get back to work. Besides that, the atmosphere was pleasant. Very nice and clean.

This is one of my favorite restaurants, after today's bad experience I don't think it will be anymore, I had to wait 30 minutes for a table for 2 people. After sitting down, the waiter took the usual time to take the drink orders but after that did not stop at the table to take the order 40 minutes passed and he never came to take the order, I had to ask for the receipt of 2 sodas from the machine which charged me $6.99 it was not a busy night so the experience was bad!

This is a full review of how the staff here attempted to call the police on me This was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered in terms of dealing with a restaurant. Let me start by saying I live near a Monterey‘s restaurant in the Smyrna area that I frequent often. I assumed that all the restaurants were affiliated and have the same quality service and food, but boy was I wrong. When me and my friend got to the restaurant, The table and benches reeked of bleach. I was appreciative of the cleanliness, but feared that my clothes would be stained, which thankfully they were not. Nobody ever came to us and offered us chips or anything until we requested it. While we waited, I requested a cheese dip appetizer which tasted terrible and I requested for them to just take it back. I then ordered something on the menu, and the presentation of that meal was NOT something I would ever feel comfortable bringing out to a customer. The food looked as if it had been sitting out all day, and when I requested it they threw it in the microwave for a few minutes before serving it to me. I told them I No longer wanted it, and she casually walked by and placed our ticket on the table that included both the cheese dip and the nacho that I’ve never even touched! After going back-and-forth with her in regards to the matter, she threaten to call the police on me, to which I was perfectly fine with, because I was not in the wrong at all.
