Incredible food in a beautiful setting. Had a perfectly cooked steak and a glass of the regions finest red. The staff were very friendly and I was very impressed with the amount of local produce on the menu. I travel a lot and wanted to stay somewhere that could feel like home. I have already booked for my next business trip.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday in this beautiful little town. Elms Restaurant catered to my fussy family without hesitation. With dietary restrictions as long as my arm, the staff were only too happy to accomodate. The food was delicious! My tip is the golden syrup dumplings! Will be back!

Only a one night stay in a "budget room", but it was entirely acceptable in all respects. Friendly and efficient service.

I have needed to stay here a few times now, as I was buying a property in the area. So just found it on Google. But am glad I did. Friendly staff, awesome rooms, and great food at Elms Restaurant.As I've stayed a few times, I've stayed in a couple of different rooms, definitely prefer the upper rooms over the below, although they are fine, there was no AC and it was a hot night. Plus no window in the bathroom, I'm a stickler for natural light.But overall, all rooms are comfortable and nice. However definitely ask that you will have AC if you prefer it. The room did have an efficient fan.The food at Elms was amazing and I recommend the mushroom starter as a main, very tasty. The steak was also one of the best I've had.Definitely worth a stay for a few days or just an overnighter. The staff are super friendly and will ensure your stay is comfortable.
