The restaurant offered good value for money and the quality of the food was excellent. The service was outstanding. I have always been a picky eater but I couldn't fault the staff for their hospitable and attentive attitude. The food was served quickly and was hot. The employees at the Lighthouse did a fantastic job. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lighthouse Bistro:
The first time I went to the lighthouse I felt the atmosphere very dull, the decor and furniture dull.I could see the play area was very colourful.I think the place needs a touch of colour, maybe red napkins to liven up the tables. When I received my meal I was oblivious to the setting and wow, what a seafood platter and I keep coming back. The food is great value for money and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was well presented and good sized portions. The atmosphere appears to be an open lobby area of a motel.
The garlic prawns were divine. The seafood platter wasn’t great dry scallops and fish. Love the kids eat free deal with an ordered main as it makes it so affordable. The glassed play area is fantastic kids had a ball playing, we hardly seen them. We will return.
There were a number of areas to mention. 645 ordering noticed run out of folded cutlery. Lip stick on wine glass.745 i was the last to receive main. Curried scallops as a main$30.99.Counted 9 scallops It looked like a 1/2 serve. Previous week had crumbed scallops received 18 in the meal my mum had 13 in a half serve.Hence my disappointment. I was offered a complimentary dessert for the lateness of my meal which i accepted. Bar attendant picked up our bottle of out of the cooler and put it back as it was not empty. Not to fill our glasses so inexperience or untrained as wine bottles are turned upside down when empty or at least ask first then proceed. The other 3 mains were enjoyed. Waitresses where fine under the circumstances. The extended meal wait time wasn't a issue ,it was the disappointment with my main for reasons explained. Other things just compounded the experience to average
