We had a group of 7 and the restaurant sat us right away, service was fast, excellent recommendations and high quality food. Staff was friendly, funny and professional, making the meal feel upscale but at reasonable prices. Setting is awesome right in the river and many sites to see all around. We love this place. It's our favorite in San Juan. We always make sure to visit whenever we're in town. Though it can be on the pricier side, the incredible food, service, and atmosphere make it worth it. The ocean view is stunning, but it's best enjoyed before sunset. Located in the heart of Condado, it's convenient for bar hopping and taking a stroll down Ashford Avenue afterwards. View all feedback.
We were able to sit out on the patio and had just a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and the people were friendly and attentive. It seems they've remodeled it and it looks better than ever
Great Back patio and outdoor seating overlooking Mirror Pond
This is a go-to place for us on Sunday afternoons because of the consistently good food, lovely atmosphere, and attentive service.
We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together.
Beautifully scenic outdoor seating. The food was average, but the view of Mirror Pond made up for it.
