Came in on a Friday evening with my wife. Paid about 22 dollars each, for my wife and I to eat. Waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated. It was well worth it. The restaurant seems popular and has plenty of seating, with clean tables and booths that are nice, big, and comfortable. It's one of the best buffets I've been to. I normally only grab a plate or two, but the food here was so good that I had to have more. There i... View all feedback.
What Ana Maria Damian doesn't like about Makoto Japanese Buffet:
If I could give the food 0 stars I totally would. Came here on a Sunday at 3pm. The food was fresh and hot but so bland and mediocre. Ended up getting sick after eating at this place. Even the sushi was subpar. You’re better off going to conveyor belt sushi. The non-sushi items also left a lot to be desired. People that claim the food is good have no taste and I regret trusting those reviews. Will never come back aga... View all feedback.
Seems like they only comment on positive reviews and not the ones who did not have great experiences…Very low standards from those commenting and praising the food and service. I’ve never had a positive experience eating at this restaurant. The food always seems old with flies flying around it/landing on it. Many plates and eating utensils are not properly cleaned- leaving old food from the last person. I seem to always have some kind of stomach ache or troubles afterwards :(I try to give places extra chances because they could’ve just had an off day or something but after my previous visit I’d honestly recommend finding elsewhere to eat.
The table was dirty, the seats were sticky… the food is ok, not so much meat.Food: 4/5
This place use to be a great place to go. This is the first time we have been back since Covid. There was visible damages to the tables and walls. Very limited options on made food. Nothing tasted seasoned, was very bland or dried out. Bathrooms were unsanitary. It was sad to see.Food: 2/5
Everything was great. Great food, service, and selection. There was even a Mongolian style grill placed right in the middle of the sushi bar and cooked food fruit/jello section. There is plenty of seating, comfortable, and family-friendly atmosphere. I just don't appreciate being put next to a section where I'm adjacent to your garbage cans. Especially when I see plenty of seating further away from it. Not cool. And I was not using the longer plates unless it's for sushi. A plate is a plate, and the customer should have it their way. The sushi plates hold more and save me time going back and forth. So please incorporate a choice option for any plate in your restaurant for all food sections. But the food and pricing were great.Vegetarian options: It's SushiKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

They made sure our table was always clean and cleared of any empty plates and that our drinks were always filled.
