Written by a local....We have been here a few times for dinner & really enjoyed it.They have some unique & delicious menu items. The cauliflower is surprisingly awesome! In winter it can be difficult getting a table without a reservation, summer is easier. They have music and live entertainment regularly after dinner hour. The service is unpretentious and good. North Vancouver could use more cool independent restaurant... View all feedback.
What Moniaits doesn't like about Finch & Barley:
The noise level is one suited for a night club not a restaurant! The music was so loud everyone had to shout in order to carry on a conversation. My throat was extremely soar by the end of the evening. Not enjoyable at all. Pity because the food is actually very good, the flat breads in particular. View all feedback.
With friends after the hose in the happy hour around 17 clock. the inner is beautiful, much cool / funky art on the wall and great plants that I am.
Came to dinner tonight. I really liked the ambiente with the red lighting. the prices are reasonable and the shares are decent. we're here at 17 o'clock.
We went to the finch and barley last autumn and loved it. We were so disappointed last night. we had a reservation, but they couldn't find it.
Always impressed with the staff. Friendly service. Delicious food and cocktails. Eclectic room and underground tunes heard on a great sound system (from 10pm onward). A taste of downtown without the need for a $40 uber. The OG LOLO Spot!
The lamb burger is delicious, service perfectly helpful and friendly without being too much and this place has the best fries in Canada! (recently changed their potato supplier looks like I timed things just right). There's a lot of good looking stuff on the menu, I'll be back!Vegetarian options: Halloumi tacos or burgers! And more! (to try)
