I've been to most Indian restaurants in the lower mainland and this one is definitely at the top of the list. The selection of dishes is unique compared to many other Indian restaurants and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is nice and low key and the staff is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. View all feedback.
What Walton Johns doesn't like about Indian Oven Restaurant:
We were headed to Las Margarita's (Mexican) but decided at the last minute to go kitty corner for Indian fare instead. We were famished so we pigged out on shrimp pakora, Tandoori chicken, curry prawns, naan with mango ice cream to finish. It was a very enjoyable dinner. We were informed by our server that the restaurant also delivers to a distance of 5 km. View all feedback.
Price/quality (3/4): Curries are generally good, though their rice seemed a little different on my last visit.
Did not have a very pleasant experience at the Indian Oven Restaurant. I had the chance to experience this location in a party of 5. Even though there
Born and brought up in India, I know a thing or two about how Indian food tastes.
The service was awful, they took forever for even tea. The waiters were very mean for no reason, and the food is gross ended not even having most of it.
Veg. Pakoras are crispy and spicy; Veg korma to die for; eggplant is always on our list....may be too spicy for some? Another of our faves is a chicken dish with mango in the sauce. Service is always friendly and efficient. We have never had anything there that we did not like.
