Kisha Poppo Japanese Restaurant

Found this restaurant a few weeks ago by luck. It's a little far from central Richmond but it's just off the highway so it's not too bad. I have since been back a couple times and service is a hit and miss. The first time I went was ok and the second time was better but the third time was back to ok. I am pretty sure it is run by Chinese people. Food is very decent for the price. Surprised to find that they serve proper oyster motoyaki, not like some restaurant that uses small aluminium tart holders to serve it in. Price is decent too. Will be back when I need a sushi fix. Weird thing to note...they give you a order sheet to order for late night but not for lunch or dinner.

A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and we were very pleased with our experience. We particularly enjoyed the spicy salmon sashimi, and thought the prices were reasonable for the generous portion sizes.

This restaurant's quality varies greatly. At times, it offers great deals, delicious food, and friendly staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by Kadoya.
