The restaurant has lost its way. Even though we arrived on time, we were told to wait for 30 minutes. No offer of a drink. The food was very disappointing compared to previous visits. This was one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver, while they’ve reduced hours, the food was still pretty good. I was definitely excited to go again, but something just seems different than when I used to go. The service level for a restaurant of this price point was not as good as it used to be. For example: I was disappointed that I asked to pack my fries with my steak frites, only to discover the fries weren’t packed.
Beef Wellington, roasted duck, and veal were our main course. And we had spotted prawns for appetizer. The food was fresh and tasty; it’s a bit on a heavier side; but great experience overall!
