Meat City barely qualifies as a restaurant appearing to be not much more than a canteen. There's some tables inside and a couple outside but I suspect most people get their food to go. The staff look more like dock workers than restaurateurs and we almost left without ordering especially when we were told several of the items on their menu were not available. Seen some good reviews so decided to eat lunch there recently. We arrived well before 12 pm and there was only one customer ahead of us and nobody at any of their tables. We provided our orders quickly. The two sandwiches and kettle chips took more than 20 minutes to be ready. Wow, this is for sandwiches during a time when they were not busy.
