Walked to Yagger's downtown based on ratings for sports bar. A good 20 minute walk from waterfront and worth every calorie burned. The place was busy for just opening in a Sunday afternoon and the lone server took every challenge in stride. Enjoyed some local draft, devoured a great home made burger and enjoyed an afternoon hockey game. I suspect this place has a lot of regulars and would be a great stop on a weekend... An eclectic nostalgia bar. Some would call it old and dated. The good news is that the food is decent for pub food and it's quite well priced. Sat at the bar and the service was very good. Must admit I could have rated the place a 3 or maybe a 4, but when I saw all the "5" votes I had to give it some balance for people wanting to get a fair review. The place is not a 5. Came to get a beer and see a football game. service was good and fast, and the atmosphere was nice on broadway. it seemed empty for a Saturday afternoon, but I'm sure it's busier as the evening goes! many choices of chickens... wings also smell!
A restaurant that has been in vancouver for years. some films were made in the restaurant. Eating was not very good for what we ordered. the staff was half friendly. the price was decent. if they are looking for a quick bite, this may be suite you....But eating a quality restaurant is not what this place provides.
Stopped in to rest our feet and have a beverage after a day of seeing the sites. They have a full bar to choose from and a decent menu. There is a happy hour every day with both food and beverages. Great service- very friendly....Couches to hang out on in front or Tables in the back. Thursday’s are a pound of wings for around 7 or 8. Pretty good too!!
We ordered from here from foodora. We had never eaten there before but the menu sounded good. It was delicous!! Nice people and good food.
Used to be a huge strip bar. But they turned the old entry i to a great little pub. Good drink prices. Pinball. Video golf. Big buck hunter. Excellent location.
