El Rocinante - Vélez-Málaga

We used to be regulars here but haven 't visited for a while. Went last week and so enjoyed our lunch. The rear garden in very peaceful. We were greeted as old friends, the service was excellent. I had the best sole I have eaten for a long time (I couldn 't find it on the English menu the waiter had brought us, so I asked for lenguado and 'mama ' brought us the spanish menu. There it was, maybe they have fixed that now I gave her the right translation) It was so fresh, so well cooked. My husband had a steak and they took great trouble to get it just to his liking. Good crispy chips with both though no veg, you may want to order a salad. All in all a lovely lunch.

Good spices, on the beach and with good shade. has a very nice Andalusian patio. you can book menu of 10 or 15 euros very complete both.

If you are looking for a quiet place (chiringuito) where to relax and stay with the family, this is the ideal place. an exquisite service and the quality of the food is in a great relationship with the price. important: if you are going to make a booking request that is in the back terracilla (or in the courtyard). pd: It is recommended to eat at 1.30 p.m. (only fewer people).

Unbeatable service, large and comfortable facilities. In general the dishes are quite good except the fish that leave something to want. prices are high even if jotified by the quality they offer.
