Contribute FeedbackOriginal Joe's offers a hit-or-miss dining experience, but our recent visit left us impressed. Despite a mistake with our order, the general manager went above and beyond to make things right. The butter chicken and taco salad were delicious, served in a cozy glassed-in patio setting on a perfect evening. The service was efficient, and the staff friendly. An excellent half-price wine special on Thursdays adds value to the experience. While the food may be inconsistent at times, the ACE cheeseburger was a standout dish. Overall, Original Joe's offers a pleasant dining experience with some room for improvement.
Our family came to Original Joe's in Vernon, BC because we had seen how the Original Joe's in Vancouver was always busy.
I've eaten in many OJ's but this one was a very different experience.

The restaurant is the end building of a row of stores in the Parking lot of Polson Mall, this allows them to have a quiet, glassed in patio in addition to regular restaurant. This Thursday evening the temperature was perfect for our al fresco dining. The butter chicken was great buttery mild unless you ask for extra spice as I did. The Taco salad was also excellent.The special on Thursday is half-price bottles of wine, which is an excellent deal and of course they are happy to package the bottle for you to take home if you have some left(legal in BC).
Really good food and reasonably priced, but try the third level spicy drunken street noodles at your own risk.
